ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidates applying for Diploma in Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) must be holders of WASCE, SSCE, NECO or GCE O/L with five (5) credits at not more than two sitting which must include; English Language. Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
2. Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEW) with two years, post qualification experience in addition to the above requirements mentioned and applicant must be registered with Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess a valid practicing license, may be considered for admission into 200 level of the programme.
3. Prospective candidates applying for Medical Laboratory Science must possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Level/GCE O’ Level in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and at least a pass in Physics at not more than two sittings.
4. Candidates with MLA or OND (Science Laboratory Technology, SLT) certificate in addition to the requirements in “a” above maybe considered for admission into 200level of the programme.
